Senators Antonio Trillanes and Leila De Lima will both soon face a case related to the previous administration’s distribution of fund allocations under the discredited Disbursement Acceleration Program.

President Rodrigo Duterte said in an interview at PTV-4 on Tuesday night, that Trillanes will have to face a DAP related charges; the same case would be filed against detained Senator De Lima.

The president though, did not provide further details about it.

“Sauce for the gander, sauce for the goose. Walang yellow pa na naano ngayon except De Lima, but she has a case coming up also sa DAP. I could not believe really... Grabe itong babaeng ito. Talagang kapal sa kapal,” the president said.

Duterte delivered the declaration during the awarding of outstanding government workers and groups in Malacañang while he slammed those who were yet to prosecute the opposition.

“Pilipino, niloloko kayo ng isang tao na pinag-aral ninyo sa Academy, Philippine Military Academy. ‘Yun ‘yung nagwala diyan sa Makati, tapos he pictured himself to be a righteous one,” he said.

“Inaatake niya ‘yang si Arroyo for corruption. Only to join a corrupt regime at nagkaroon ng deposito ngayon. So saan ka nagkuha ng 196 kung mahirap ka? Wala siyang bank account. Ibig sabihin pati sa Pilipinas, wala kang bank account? Sa Senador mo, wala kang isang bangko lang na dinedepositahan mo? Saan pala ‘yung kinita mo sa DAP?” Duterte added.

Last May, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II already linked De Lima and Trillanes, Senator Franklin Drilon and the former budget chief Florencio Abad to pork barrel scam after detained businesswoman Janet Napoles’s revealed that these personalities allegedly benefited from the corruption scam.
