President Duterte having doubts if Gascon is a "pedophile" for being so fixated on young boys

Manila, Philippines - President Rodrigo Duterte said that human rights advocates are like “enemies” out to demonize the police force as he mocks Commission on Human Rights chief Jose Luis Martin “Chito” Gascon.

The president expressed his thought that maybe Gascon was a “pedophile” as he was into killings of male teenagers.

Then president Duterte also pointed another human rights advocate and opposition Senator Risa Hontiveros, who kept harping calls that there was a state policy on drug-related deaths but did not ever condemn the acts of criminals.

“Human rights. They’re the enemies of the police. If a kid dies, they’ll just blame it on the police,” the president said in an interview last Friday aired through state-run TV channel PTV4.

Also, in a media interview in Davao City, the president said “Gascon, let me just tell the guy—he is really a spokesman for the Liberal [LP) and for the opposition who want me out of the presidency,”

“I am inviting you to try ousting me. So we can both stand on what we are fighting for.” He added.

Then the president asked the CHR chief if he was a “pedophile” for targeting young boys.

“This Gascon—I hope to meet you one of these days. Why is this guy so suffocated with the issue of the young people, especially boys? Are you a pedophile? You are fond of children?”

“You are so fixated with the death of young males, that’s why I’m having doubts that you b**** is a pedophile. Idiot. “ President Duterte said.

While the president acknowledged that CHR was created “investigate abuses and wrongdoings of government,” he also pointed out that the institution did not give a second thought to investigate or look into the deaths caused by the drug addicts.
