The survey conducted by Social Weather Station (SWS) from June 23-26 with 1, 200 respondents revealed that 78 percent of Filipinos were highly satisfied with President Duterte’s performance. There were 12 percent dissatisfied and 10 percent undecided respondents.

President Duterte has reached a new record-high net public satisfaction rating of +66, as released on Friday by SWS which is considered as ‘very good’ on SWS scale.

If recalled, he got +63 satisfactory rating in March and this new record was three percent higher. September last year, the president’s best recorded score was at +64.

With this, the result of SWS survey only shows the implicit support of the public to the president’s action especially concerning the crisis in Marawi City.

"This positive acknowledgement of the Filipino people further motivates the administration to work for the restoration of normalcy in Marawi and to start its rehabilitation as well as to bring comfortable life to all Filipinos, including Muslim Filipinos," as also stated by Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella in a press briefing in Malacanang on Friday.
