Honeylet tours ASEAN spouses

Manila, Philippines - President Rodrigo Duterte's partner, Honeylet Avancena leds the tour of ASEAN summit leaders around the National Museum on Saturday while their husbands attend the meeting. 

The guests posed in front of Juan Luna's masterpiece, the Spoliarium which symbolizes the Philippines' story during the Spaniards ruling. 

Together with them was the National Museum Director Jeremy Barns. According to Barns, Avancena has a good grasp of Philippine history.

After the tour, together with the visitors, they had lunch at the 3rd floor of the museum. Among the wives were first lady Iriana Widodo, Naly Sisoulith of Laos, Datin Padukah Seri Hajjah Rosmah Mansor of Malaysia, Naraporn Chan-o-cha of Thailand, and Thu Tran Nguyen of Vietnam.

The women were entertained by the cultural shows featuring a bamboo dance group and some young singers led by Darlene Vibares of The Voice Kids. 

Prior the tour, Avancena also helped the president to welcome the guest of the ASEAN summit.
