A female police officer and her lover were arrested in Bohol, last Saturday, April  22 for allegedly planning to rescue remaining Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG)members who are still hiding in the said province, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa said in a press conference on Monday.

The PNP Chief named the lady cop as Superintendent Maria Cristina Nobleza who is in a relationship with Reneer Lou Dongon, an ASG member and her supposed to be driver. Nobleza was a former officer for President Anti-Organized Crime Commission who interrogated Dongon when he was arrested for bombing a mall in Cagayan de Oro.

"She is sleeping with the enemy... Naloko sa pag-ibig. Dahil sa pagmamahal dun sa lalaki na Abu Sayyaf, nagpagamit siya" Dela Rosa said referring to Nobleza.

Dela Rosa also added that Nobleza is a member of Balik-Islam missionary group where ASG gets their recruits from.

Intelligence report says that Nobleza is married to a certain Police Superintendent Allan Nobleza. Her relationship with Dongon started way back in 2013, when the latter was jailed for a double murder case. Dongon was released after because of some "technicalities".

According to her superior, Nobleza has no instruction to be in Bohol as she's supposed to be in Camp Crame for a training which will end in May.

Meanwhile, detained senator Leila De Lima gave her sympathy and comments about what happened to Nobleza in a short handwritten note posted on her Facebook account but was immediately removed for whatever reason. De Lima and Nobleza shares almost the same story, as the lady senator calls it "frailties of a woman".

Since both are considered as "high risk" detainee, authorities already requested that they should be flown in Manila and to be detained at the PNP custodial center.
